Fireside 90" backing is a 100% polyester, soft, and plush fabric designed for quilt backs, often considered a matte alternative to cuddle or m=Minky fabrics. This 90-inch-wide material is ideal for larger quilts, reducing the need for seams. We call Fireside the "adult" Minky. It's just as soft but doesn't have the shine of Minky. It's a great backing for a guy quilt, or anyone who would prefer less shine, a bit duller color, or someone who doesn't want to fight with the "bubbles" that Minky fabric has.
